Transport Planner

Location – London

£30k – £40k (depending on experience)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner to join a busy team based in London and lead on the delivery of a wide range of transport assessments for various clients across the UK, using a detailed knowledge and experience of standard modelling packages and recognised transport appraisal techniques.

Duties will be varied but responsibilities will include:

•    Manage client relationships to ensure the securing of work
•    Manage work projects in line with client expectations and priorities
•    Continue to update personal knowledge or relevant technical, legal and policy changes
•    Use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions
•    Maintain continuous professional development
•    Provide guidance on quality matters and technical issues
•    Seek to “add value” to all projects

If you are interested in applying, we would envisage that you could demonstrate:

•    Relevant degree (or higher) level qualification and membership or working towards membership of a relevant professional body (MIHT  or similar)
•    Demonstrable transport planning experience at a comparable in a consultancy or similar environment
•    Evidence of using standard transport planning databases such as TRICS
•    Proven project delivery capabilities
•    Strong software modelling capabilities on relevant software packages such as ARCADY/PICADY/LINSIG
