Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + package benefits

Emtech are working with a specialist Transport Consultancy who are looking for a Principal or Associate level Transport Planner to join their team. Ideally you will have a background working with developers across a range of projects and be keen take the lead role of a small team.

Experience required:

• 5+ years of Engineering / Transport Planning experience.
• Preparation of complex junction layouts as hand drawn scaled drawings and using AutoCAD.
• Proficient in the use of junction modelling software to assess capacity performance and identify suitable mitigating improvements.
• Produce Appeal Statements and provide technical assistance in the preparation of Inquiry documents.
• Responsibility for preparing detailed technical reports identifying suitable solutions to issues that arise.
• Delivering all work in line with adopted design standards and policies, alongside the company’s own standard procedures.
• Responsibility for mentoring and management of a small team.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to undertake business development and secure instructions from new Clients.
• HNC / Degree level education.
• Full driving licence. Having a car available for work would be advantageous.
