PRINCIPAL TRANSPORT PLANNER

Location: Farringdon, London

Hybrid work permitted

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience)

Emtech Recruitment are working with one of the largest independent consultancies in transport planning, infrastructure design and flood risk who are looking for a Principal Transport Planner to join their team in Farringdon, Central London.

They’re currently working on a wide array of projects in and around London, across residential, commercial, and more.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• You will be an experienced Transport Planner, with a thorough understanding of relevant planning and transport policy and delivery of advice and results for clients. You will ideally have:
• A degree in a related subject;
• Significant experience in preparing with Transport Statements, Assessments;
• Ability to set up and run PICADY’s and ARCADY (Junctions 9);
• Experience of using LINSIG and ability to understand outputs;
• Understanding of the principles of micro-simulation and strategic models/modelling;
• Knowledge of design standards (DMRB, MfS) and when and how they are used;
• Experience of developing access, parking and sustainable transport strategies;
• Knowledge ExepeAccess strategy work, parking strategies, sustainable transport; Knowledge of S106 agreements, S278 agreements and Traffic Regulation Orders;
• Project management skills with the capability to manage a wide and complex workload;
