Principal Highway Engineer

Location: Southwark, Central London

Salary: £50,000 – £58,000 (dependent on experience) + bonus and other benefits

Emtech are currently recruiting for a Principal Highways Engineer on behalf of a transport and civil engineering consultancy based in London Bridge.

The company have 30 staff and the highways team is currently 10 people across two offices. The role will be co-leading the team alongside the Associate Director. Underneath you will be a team you will be expected to oversee / help train where required.

Ideally you will have the following experience:

• Circa 8-10 years experience in road design to local authority or DMRB standards (S278 / S38 and private works)
• Design of external works to development projects
• Worked on private and public sector highway schemes
• Managed a team and successfully delivered a range of projects
• Experienced in liasing with clients and attending design team meetings, training graduates

The salary for this position is competitive plus a yearly bonus, pension, 25 days holiday (increases with service), private healthcare etc. The working arrangement is 3 days in the London office and 2 from home per week.
