Principal Civil Engineer

Location: Bristol

Salary: Up to 55k + package benefits

Emtech are working with a medium size Engineering Consultancy who are looking for a Principal Civil Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The company have grown year on year for the last 5 years and are looking for a client facing experienced Engineer to join their busy Bristol office of over 40 staff across the Engineering Department.

They are currently working on a range of schemes across residential, retail, warehouses and commercial projects and well as a number of international projects. You will be speaking more than 50% of your time working on international schemes, mainly data centres and large facilities across Europe and America. You will therefore need to have an interest in working on international projects, prior experience would be useful but is not essential.

Experience Desired:

• Team management and project management experience
• Client communication experience, able to manage a large scale project delivery
• Estate road horizontal and vertical design to local authority or DMRB standards
• Design of external works to development projects
• Drainage design to building regs and water company ‘Sewers for Adoption’ standard (S104, S185 diversions etc)
• Civil 3D design experience useful
• Microdrainage / Infodrainage for drainage design

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take on a client facing role and an exciting portfolio of international projects. There is an established team in place in the Bristol office which works alongside other office locations.
