Highway Engineer

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 + package benefits

Emtech are working with a growing engineering consultancy based in Central London who are looking for a Highway Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is a part of a small team where the individual will have a key role within the business.

Experience Required:

• 1-4 years experience in highway design for development projects such as residential, commercial, retail, town re-developments, mixed use schemes etc.
• Able to produce outline designs for site access, junctions, visibility splays, roundabouts, road layouts, testing of service yards.
• Experience in negotiation S278 & S38 agreements.
• Capable user of AutoCAD and AutoTrack is essential.
• Communication and client facing skills.
• Able to work independently and take initiative to projects progress to completion.
