Structural Engineer
Location: Bishops Stortford
Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 (DOE) + Benefits Package

Emtech is partnering with a dynamic and growing Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy in Bishops Stortford, looking to expand their Structural Engineering team. We are seeking Structural Engineers or Senior Structural Engineers with UK-based experience in residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to projects from initial concept to completion, developing a client-focused and commercial mindset.
• Work on building structures across multiple materials, including reinforced concrete, structural steelwork, masonry, and timber.
• Utilize 2D/3D structural design software, including Tekla and TEDDS.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and liaise with clients, architects, and contractors.

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree: BEng or MEng in Civil/Structural Engineering or Engineering Design
• Professional Membership: Graduate member of IStructE/ICE
• Experience: 2+ years in an engineering consultancy (preferred)
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of structural engineering for building structures
• Software Skills: Familiarity with 3D/2D structural design tools
• Attitude: A proactive mindset, eagerness to take responsibility, and a genuine passion for structural engineering
