Structural Engineer
Location: London Bridge

The position is available due to some large upcoming projects that the company need to deliver, you will be joining a structural engineering team of 20 working alongside disciplines in the office.
On offer is the chance to work on a wide range of projects across leisure facilities, university buildings, commercial, high rise apartment schemes, high end residential and more. They work across all materials and have Chartered Structural Engineers in place to support with Chartership development.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
· Working under the supervision of a Senior/Principal Engineer in the production of schematic/concept designs and structural design calculations within defined project timescales
· Liaising with other construction professionals in the development of designs
· Undertaking structural designs using ROBOT or TEKLA and by hand as required
· Directing technicians in the production of AutoCAD and REVIT drawing information undertaking and quality reviews of drawn information prior to issue
· Responsible for the analysis and design of building structures, progressing to overall design of structures
· Ability to produce drawings using Autocad software
· Visiting sites and attending site meetings
· Involvement in internal project design meetings
· Attend external design meetings with clients and other design team members
· Prepare correspondence and reports

Senior / Principal Civil Engineer
Central London
Salary: up to 60k
Hybrid working, 3 days in the office and 2 from home
The business have 40 staff (mainly structures) and a very wide range of projects. Recent schemes include a re-development of a safari park, high end residential in London, a new KIA car showroom, a new M&S superstore, a new shopping centre in Hampshire and Heathrow Terminal 5.
Currently the Civil Engineering team is an Associate and an Engineer and they are looking for a Senior / Principal Civil Engineer as a number two in the team. The plan over the next 3-4 years is to grow the civils team to 10 people so this person will have an opportunity to progress as they build from underneath.
The company are very social and do monthly and quarterly events as well as trips abroad previously. They do 3 days in the office and 2 from home with some flexibility to do more from home dependent on meetings etc.
Ideally you will be able to:
- Carry out drainage design for development projects
- Good knowledge of SUDS and Flood Risk Assessments
- Estate road & car park design
- Able to attend meeting with clients, local authorities and external stakeholders
- Able to run a civils project with support if needed
- Prior experience training junior staff would be useful
- In house they use CAD, Site 3D, Civil 3D, Microdrainage, Infodrainage so experience with some of this software is needed but not all as some companies do not use all of the above

Senior Civil Engineer
Location: Nottingham City Centre

They are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their Nottingham city centre team. The role involves the delivery of high quality infrastructure designs (roads and drainage) associated a broad range of development projects.
Recent projects include the provision of civil engineering designs associated with building developments and public realm projects, from the early masterplanning stage through to delivery of solutions on site, highway infrastructure projects and a wide range of education, residential and large scale re-development projects.

Structural Revit Technician
Location: Central London
Salary: 35k – 40k plus benefits
Emtech are working with a Civil & Structural Consultancy who are looking for a Structural Revit Technician to join their established team in London. Ideally you will have at least a few years experience working with Revit across either residential, education, commercial, industrial projects.
In this role you will be joining a structural team of 12 which sits within a wider office near London Bridge in a great location. The working arrangement is 2 days in the office and 3 from home however you can work more days in the office should you choose to.
Our requirements:

Transport Planner
Location - London

Flood Risk Consultant / Flood Modeller

Emtech are working with a growing Civil Engineering, Flood Risk & Transport Consultancy operating mainly in the private sector. They are a growing company who work on a wide range of projects across London and the South of England.
As part of their exciting strategy for growth they are expanding their existing Flood Risk Management team and are looking for consultant with 1+ years experience to support their flood risk assessment and drainage assessment work. This role involves supporting senior colleagues to work with clients and stakeholders.
To be successful you will need to be confident in developing FRAs in discussion with the Client team as well as liaising with the various consultees (EA/LLFA etc). Ideally you will also have, or wish to develop, experience in delivering drainage and SuDS strategies.
Much of their work supports their clients projects to progress site allocations through the Local Plan process alongside planning applications for residential and commercial developments and so experience of the planning process and delivering the right product for the right purpose is desirable.

Senior Civil Engineer
Location: Plymouth

Emtech are working with a multi disciplinary Engineering Consultancy who are looking for a Civil Engineer with a background in highway design and drainage design for development projects to join their team.
They already have an Associate Civil Engineer and Civil Engineering Technician in place and are looking for a Civil Engineer at Senior or Principal grade to be a key part in the civil engineering team they are building there. The plan is to get the Civil Engineering team in Plymouth to 5-10 people and then bring in some other Engineering disciplines that they cover across the wider business.
This role has real career growth potential. As a business they are currently have 80 staff but planning to grow significantly over the next 3-5 years. The Plymouth office will grow and so as one of the first team members there is a real opportunity to move up quickly. The office space has an on-site gym and is a very modern building. Projects are varied across residential, commercial, schools, university building, leisure facilities and some international projects. They also have a full Chartership support scheme in place.
Experience Required:
- 2+ years experience as a civil engineer working in highway and drainage design for development projects
- Experience in highway design, junction design, roundabout design, ground modelling, car parks and drainage design desired
- Experience in negotiation S278, S38, S104, S106 is beneficial.
- Good knowledge of SUDS, prior experience carrying out flood risk assessments would be beneficial.
